In 1998 I was living and working in Borneo (Brunei). With no internet at work or home nights I would often sketch or paint on the balcony overlooking the jungle. Dino from Web Theoria called one day and said he needed a catalogue made in Flash. “Why Flash?” I asked. “It would be much better if this was HTML. Your PHP guy will find it easier to implement and it would be much more user friendly.” With Dino onboard I mocked-up the catalogue page to his design. “From now on,” I said, “Use HTML, CSS and JavaScript for your interactive web pages.” Flash is for … other things.

In 2009 The School Food Trust ran a campaign in England and Wales to raise money for WFP’s school meals. Schools were encouraged to register. Student could then create an avatar to sit at the virtual table, and pledge meals.
A branded game for the short lived Monty the mouse campaign for Cathedral City’s Chedds (Did someone say Didymus?). It was on Cartoon Network where it racked up a sizable number of impressions.
I’m excited. Next month I’m going to watch the fencing at the London 2012 Olympics. In 2006 I joined a fencing club where I met Priscille and Claire. When they decided to start up there own club I had to join. The French Fencing Factory is a fun, inclusive place to fence and the members super friendly. Oh, and Priscille is probably the Frenchest person in England. If you fancy a spot of épée do look them up. :-)
I have done three Silverlight apps for Microsoft Advertising so far. This was the first. It’s a tool to help advertisers hear what people from different audiences think about various online activities.
