Before Niggles & Narks, in 2009, VCCP created an interim look and feel for O2’s broadband offering. This was fairly much a scribbly line drawing of a house with an equally scribbly headline. O2 wanted to show their broadband deals in-store, so I was teamed with a freelance Copywriter (Hi Dianne :-)), and we went about creating a sequence of screens for 19" touchscreens. Expanding and animating this simple identity.

Last July I had the pleasure of creating my second Silverlight app for Microsoft Advertising (You can read about the first one here) while working at VCCP. This Silverlight tool lets you view and filter videos from the Ad Vision series in an easy to use and visually engaging way.
A branded game for the short lived Monty the mouse campaign for Cathedral City’s Chedds (Did someone say Didymus?). It was on Cartoon Network where it racked up a sizable number of impressions.
I’m excited. Next month I’m going to watch the fencing at the London 2012 Olympics. In 2006 I joined a fencing club where I met Priscille and Claire. When they decided to start up there own club I had to join. The French Fencing Factory is a fun, inclusive place to fence and the members super friendly. Oh, and Priscille is probably the Frenchest person in England. If you fancy a spot of épée do look them up. :-)
I have done three Silverlight apps for Microsoft Advertising so far. This was the first. It’s a tool to help advertisers hear what people from different audiences think about various online activities.
Bringing out my girly side
Yes really! This site was designed by a boy! An accessories brand for young teenage girls. Get your nails done, put your false lashes on and check it out ;-).
Somerfield merged with Co-op supermarket in 2009, and was phased out. I had the pleasure of doing the last design refresh. The homepage was rebuilt from scratch. Additional pages were revamped without changing any of the content. Only the wrapper and CSS were replaced.
Wow! Has it really been ten years?
Ready for some old-skool Flash? Well Autotrader UK wanted to have a go at viral. So to promote getting a new car we proposed smashing up your old one. A quick google has it turn up on some forums (here and here), even though the link is long dead.
Ducks! It’s all about ducks!
Yes, The O2 Top-up Surprises website was a big part of my VCCP life between 2008 and 2011. It started out as a simple Flash game (that story is for a another post), but as it grew thing had to change…
When Energizer asked Them London for a Europe wide website our small team divided up the tasks. The Back-end Developer Fed set to work on the multilingual CMS and set about creating a new design.
