Late January 2013 I bumped into another ex-VCCP’er (Here’s a link to VCCP) who was now working at Radley Yelder. They do more than few Annual Reports each year. They are also a .NET house. This was an opportunity to brush off my C# skills and get involved in a project with some substance after doing the ad agency thing for so long.

I’m posting about another bit of simple jQuery. It’s a double whammy of crossfading feature images and a carousel of information boxes. These kinda things are popular at the moment so here it is :-)
Dino from Web Theoria called one day and said he needed a catalogue made in Flash. “Why Flash?” I asked. “It would be much better if this was HTML. Your PHP guy will find it easier to implement and it would be much more user friendly.” With Dino onboard I mocked-up the catalogue page to his design. “From now on,” I said, “Use HTML, CSS and JavaScript for your interactive web pages.” Flash is for … other things.

Yes really! This site was designed by a boy! An accessories brand for young teenage girls. Get your nails done, put your false lashes on and check it out ;-).
Somerfield merged with Co-op supermarket in 2009, and was phased out. I had the pleasure of doing the last design refresh. The homepage was rebuilt from scratch. Additional pages were revamped without changing any of the content. Only the wrapper and CSS were replaced.
